Re: Blue screen for the SP-404?
That’s a work of art!!! I missed it cause I don’t usually peep this area of the site. I’d post it in freedom of speech. This is an epic advancement... that honesty, I’ve only ever seen once before. If u figured this out, u could technically do any color right? Ur reconfiguring the dna of the SP. And u could do 555 & 505 & 808????? MAD SCIENTIST SHIT.

Thanks Bazz.
No need to repost. Someone once said to me "One and done". It's here just like my post for all the repair pot numbers. If searched it can be found.
I put the board back into the original broken unit I got it from and sold it off. If I get drunk enough and and feel like experimenting again I'll try it in the 505.
I guess "technically" speaking you could do any color, white, purple, blue, but I'm no electronics technician so your guess would be as good as mine.
Thanks.

this looks amazing, but can I just ask what is the hard part technically of changing the colors?
Re: Blue screen for the SP-404?
Not sure I understand your question. Are you referring to the technical aspect of choosing the colors to match resistors? Or the hands on technical aspect of changing the LED's.vesle wrote:this looks amazing, but can I just ask what is the hard part technically of changing the colors?
If the latter. Anyone can do it, there is no real hard part. Open the unit, desolder the red leds, solder in the color of choosing in the correct direction and put back together the unit. Bamm done.
