Let's say I go on the pattern sequencer and record a couple of bars on "pad 1". Can I copy that midi info to pad 2 so I won't have to input the drums again? This is probably covered in the manual, but I lost mine >: | Also, I was screwing around with some effects and got the isolator working on two pads at once. I have no idea how I did this.

No you did not miss that in the manual because it is 'impossible'

you can select an effect to play on multiple pads by holding down Remain while you select the pads you want the effect on...the pads will light up.
ideal for putting fx on drum tracks or instrument groups

or to mute sections; either drums, samples or bass...esp when recording to your multitrack, minidisc or computerDrewzle wrote:

No, not with the volume. I found this earlier post describing how muting can be done. I know you can also do it with other effects in the MFX.
J.Daniels wrote:How to track mute with the "DJFX Looper" effect:
1.When tracking a song into a multitrack recorder or any recording interface, place any pads you wish to mute with the DJFX looper effect(using the remain pad)
2. While the track is recording, turn the 'cntrl 3' knob to 'on' when the sample isnt playing. this cuts out the sample, giving it a track mute effect.
Its also more effective when you change the desired pads while the song is recording(or being performed), using the remain pad.
