Mute chosen pads with DJFX.

Don't know if this is widely known or my own little secret, but charing
is caring.

1. Have DJFX chosen but not active.
2. Press "remain" and chose the pads you want to mute.
3. Turn CTRL 3 to "on".
5. Activate DJFX to mute all chosen pads.
6. Deactivate DJFX to resume to beat.

Pads that aren't bound to the DJFX will keep playing.

This trick seems to only work once, but you can reset it by
turning CTRL 3 to "off" and back to "on" again while DJFX
is deactivated. Then just do step 5. and 6. again to mute/unmute pads.

(I know you can do it by turning CTRL 2 to 0.0 and activate/deactivate DJFX,
but this seems to create a small jump/skip/lag when you chose another fx.)

this trick is widely known on the forums i think. this works with other effects too. If you choose the isolator (all knobs full left) you can mute/unmute as many times as you want instead of just one time with djfx. if you just want to mute something for a few seconds, effect grab comes in handy

Just as i thought, but i didn´t know about know about isolator mute so thanks!
I´m learning to use the sp for live jams and have just started using the fx-grab
and it´s really usefull.

The subsonic effect is pretty nice for that too as you can fade in/out with ctrl 3 (very useful for transitions)

i do this with the voice trans and have knob 2 of, and control the volume with knob 3
