Could anyone with an SP202 help me out?

I wanna try to re-create the lofi effect on the 202 in my DAW but don't have a 202 to compare it to. If anyone could run this track through the lofi settings and send it back I'd really appreciate it.

even if you arrive to re create the 202 lo-fi : it never sound the same (with the magic compression )

I;m fairly sure you can recreate the sound of RDAC with proper knowledge. Now whether it's worth the time or not, that's questionable....unless you are designing a vst to imitate the "SP" sound. That would be nice for DAW users.

Not sure of the exact release date of the 202. 2001 was the first time I saw one and they were discontinued everywhere I checked. I ended up with a new 303 from guitar center.

That's what i tought. Same period as Yamaha SU10 and Akai S20, they were in the same category of "cheap" simple samplers (1995-1997)

The 202 came out in 98. It followed the MS-1 which was 95. I remember reading it in some article about the most influential samplers of all time.
