pauzh1 I dug the vibe. like spending too much time on a space station and you start to hear rhythm in the machine. i think you could have pushed it to be even more exotic

krzexwo ooh! like the chops and the pitched up sample. kinda what i set out to do but got distracted. sounds a bit thin, a bit of eq and compression might help that out. nice head nodder tho

green dutch like the swing and the "snare" u pulled from the samples, all around the best track and u freaked it with the fx. almost annoyingly but you held back just enough u got da v o t e

edit and possibly the win, doesnt seem to be a very active week in the battle. maybe everyones on that marathon mixtape thing

I went with DJ Pogo. This rounds samples were hard as hell I can see why we had such a tough turnout lol. Pogo you had me head knoddin for sure. Your track sounded really good and was well composed. I tend to overuse effects when I get tired of my tracks repetitiveness. I couldn't really come up with another cool rhythm (got lazy my 202 would have solved that ) so I had to make a little smoke and mirrors. lol I do appreciate battles like this you can learn a lot of things making tracks from nothing and observing other peoples techniques. One thing for this drum kit we got I went straight to resample with some sub bass and isolated the sounds I was going to be using. Once I had that drum pattern made everything else got compressed while recording.

All beats were good, but I felt Green Dutch's the most. Almost went Dj Pogo. Pauzh1 & kszexwo had something special too.

Man, so much creativity on this forum...... I feel so 'straight edge' with my beats. But at the same time it's 1 of the things I love about sp battles, a lot of creativity & it makes me want to let loose more
