I missed this last year when it came out, but this is a dope, deep album for beatheads, by Detroit music producer and (I think) graphic artist Sterling Toles. He had some influence on Dak/Dakim, which is clear from the music. The album combines recordings of his father talking, news items from/about the 1967 Detroit uprising, and beautiful trickles and meanderings of great music.
