The point is, that the 555 has usb and can function as an interface.
That's like a dream cause I always have to dump my shit on cf.

Damn... I think with 2 G's I would either get an MV, or a Fantom-x6... or possibly a Motif - they got the sickest feel to their keys. Plus all of those have recording capabilities so you could still incorporate your SP's in the mix.

I'm pretty sure I'll buy the sp-555, cause' it has usb, d-beam and the new effects.

What y'all think?

With that money I'd buy the MV-8800, no hesitation ... but if you really feel that's overkill go with SP-606 or SP-555. :)

p.s. i am selling my mpc1k for a decent amount and looking to get a 555 or a 606 to go with my 404, what would you get?

It depends on how bad you want or would need a screen and a slightly more complex sequencer to do your thing. I've owned the SP-555 for a while, but after I had bought the SP-606 too, I really tended to use that one a lot more because it was easier to track what I was doing. For me this was purely the reason as both machines have great features and are of good quality, well worth their money. I sold my SP-555 thinking it would only collect dust, but there are features on it for which I regret this decision actually... Loop Capture and for example condenser mic input with phantom power directly on the machine, .. and some effects like Dj FX looper...

I guess it depends, a SP-606 would be as complementary to your SP-404 setup as a SP-555 would be. But perhaps the SP-606 would be the best choice as it's a tad more advanced than the SP-555. (In my humble opinion at least.)

the luck wont stop.

I went there to buy the 606, and because it was the last one they had, they sold it to me for 400 bucks.

The 606 is a mean machine. Shit is off the hook. I just love it!

congrats man... I couldn't decide between a 555 and a 606 when I bought my sp either... granted it was my first and only one, but after many days of weighing the decision I went with the 555 and am loving it. The 606 looks real sick though... bang that shit. :D
