Sp-555 as MIDI Master, without sending midi notes

Hey guys! im new here.

Its it possible to use my Sp-555 to stop start stop other machines, without send the midi notes from the sp?

Im trying to use my SP-555 with my Elektron Analog four, it start, and tempo synch. But it playes all the midi notes from the sp pattern. ;(

you can set the midi send base channel and it sends all of the banks over that channel, then that channel+1. If you make your synth respond on a lower or higher channel, you're good. You need to turn omni off on the elektron so it doesn't respond to all channels

actually i think i read the 555 always outputs pad hits on channel1. so if you can avoid channel 1, that's the solution
