I'm the same way, for the most part. I try to use good grammar...... ESPECIALLY when it comes to a professional relationship in any way. I slack a little with grammar on a personal level, typin on forums for example.

I don't really get irritated when others use bad grammar tho (unless it's really bad), but I would definitely notice it & depending on how bad the grammar was it could impact my decision on if I would work with the person.

I never really thought of it as respect or disrespect, all though that totally makes sense.
