Uno Synth $200!

Post by Headphones »

So IK Media are releasing a $200 portable mono synth. But the best features are that it runs on 4 AA batteries, MIDI In/Out, Audio In/Out, 100 preset patches/patterns, built in delay, etc...

So if your 404 or 202 needs a synth for fat bass lines, or just some extra spice in your tracks, you simply can’t go wrong for $199!

It just keeps getting better & better in the world of hardware.

These look dope, I want to compare features with the various volcas and stuff. We're really spoiled for entry level synths a groove boxes these days.

This blows the Volca Bass out of the water as far as features go for just a extra $50. Plus this is ready to plug in your laptop or desktop DAW, but I totally forgot all about owning my Volca Bass after looking at the Uno. Compared to Volca FM, it still has more patch/pattern memory, but Volca FM wins as far as a library of patches to dl. (But you’re restricted to 32 or so).

I’m all about the portable beats. It’s nice to just need a 202/404, a portable synth, a Pocket Operator or 2, and all you might need is some sort of digital recorder device.
