Digital Input trouble

Post by FLUENT »

Trying to sample the OP-1 digital input. Output is my computer, tried both 24bit/44000 khz and 16bit/44000. They both seem to work until I start sampling. Then after a few seconds the "Locked!" dialogue appears again, interrupts the sampling and cuts it out. It keeps flashing on/off like that whenever I try to sample. Any ideas? Using a new SPDIF cable.

And while I'm at it, is there a way to straight up import an acapella or beat directly into the 808 from the computer? I have the OP-1 board obviously. Would be cool if I could import wav files or convert to the proper format on the PC and import that.

Been a fan for a decade..very happy to have you back on the forums

Switch your spdif output to 48khz instead of 44khz.

Should work at that sample rate. If not... Try a different RCA/spdif cable?

Peace man, thanks. Seems like the input is just sensitive. The slightest touch unlocks it in the software.

Glad to be kicking around with an SP again. Thinking about getting a video setup soon and maybe making some beatmaking videos. Thanks for the decade of support. :!:
