started off rappin about 12 years ago, then switched to spoken word poetry, was in a dub jazz poetry band for a few years then i started making sounds in reason, bought a sp404 about 3 years ago couldn't use it for about a year or so, and then like common one day it all made sense-i guess i've been making loops and beats for about 2 years now, but now I wanna combine the beats with spoken words and poetry so imma try to complete an ep.

About 4 years ago... started out with propellorheads rebirth, then fruityloops, then onto acid. Sarted with the hardware at the beginning of this year.

Now I'm using acid, ableton, sp404, kp3, kp2, su10, mpc1000 to make noise.

EDIT

Haven't posted here in a long while. This is a great thread to come back to.

I been making noise for about 12 years (I'll be 28 this year). Started out around 1996 with a tape recorder, some instrumentals from Easzy-E and shit like that. Added a couple casio's to the setup. I had a SK-1 waaaayyyyyy before they were cool. Got my first full time job at 17 and saved some cash for a yamaha DJX and a Porta 02 4-track. They were alot of fun and got me started to seriously trying to make some real music. Ended up locked up from 1998-2003. Got out and got into FL Studio and then Reason and likely tried everything along the way (as far a software goes). Got back into hardware a couple years ago. Started with a couple machines I always wanted as a teen, DR-202 and Akai S-20. Screwed around with em a while but nothing serious came of it. A friend gave me an Ensoniq ASR-X Pro, as I was trying to get an MPC. The ASR was awesome but I hated dealing with discs and the constant menu diving. Sold it and bought a 404 which I love. Recently got a MC-307 to do loops on and I'm looking for parts to get my AN-200 back in business. Wow that was longer than I intended.

Been a minute for sure. I took a long break from the internet, computers, music and all that.
