converting format?

please help me. I hooked up my 555 to sonar on my pc via usb. I recorded a track and thats as far as I can get. I cant export (when I go to file, export, both my options are grayed out). how can I convert this to .wav or .mp3. why cant i export. I dont know if this matters but when I look at the properties of the track the output is the 555. it does not give me any options to change it though. Thanks for the help. :?:

also cand the wave converter convert PATTERNS of your 555s sound card

check the manual but if i'm correct you cannot export/import files via usb. you have to use the cf cadrds.

sorry jbl, i should have been more clear. i am trying to export the track I recorded onto sonar. not trying to export from the 555. what im trying to find out is how to get music from my sp onto the computer like into a .wav file or something. i could rec. into my 8-track recorder, but I am trying to skip that and go straigt from the 555 to the computer. thanks for all the help.
