Can anyone recommend a free zip extractor for MAC or even a online website. Having trouble extracting bass samples.

Thanks in advance.

Ah crap.. Sorry, I can't recommend any mac software, but I threw up those samples again non-compressed for you or anyone else that might have problems with them being zipped.

I ended throwing this together at work. Then resampled and resampled. I then recorded this live. With a nice glass of bourbon.

But good looking HUNGRY, I'm sure it will help out the rest of the fam.

Thanks for the alternate link hungryman! I always just grab battle samples from my phone so I can't use anything that needs to be extracted or whatever. Much appreciated!

Been a lurker on this forum for years but copped a SP202 the other day, so I signed up with a new username and may enter this one. Quick question, I've looked through the rules and I'm sure this is ok but can I bounce stuff from the 202 to tape and back into the machine to use for resampling as long as no other external processes (EQ, Comp, etc...) are used? I have checked the the six pages of rules and can't see it stated directly just referred to?

Also can I record the original samples to tape and speed up before dropping into my 202 to maximise sampling time?

Thanks.

Welcome! I think all that is cool. I think the key is that you use an SP and stick to the samples. Everyone armed with an SP. Praise goes to who uses it the best.

Thanks for the advice Teewok, I think even bouncing to a mono Marantz tape recorder and back is going to be a bit more work over resampling. I've recently borrowed a 555 about a month ago that was sat unused by the owner but want to challenge myself using only the 202.

Final mix will be live straight onto my DAW with a bit of final mastering.
