The song is from a 1987 cassette from the thrift store called The Incredible Invincible Sampler.
Make the beat using only these files and your SP(s)
Accapellas and vocals are allowed
DAW for mastering and pitching is allowed
Poll goes up Monday, March 26th around 9 PM CST

so heres mine. p.s. what do you cats think about using an sp battle in a laterproject or to collab with an mc or whatever. is that a no no because the battle poster basically dug the sample for you?

Dope flip and good question! I don't consider it a no no. I think it depends on how you flip it. It does seem more satisfying to find your own samples, especially when tactile.
But you were digging when you stepped in the arena, family.

Hi guys,
First thing: I loved the sample man. So dope! Where did you find this old tape?
My process:
Recording in PC -> Daw pitch -> Recording on SP-404 -> chop the sample -> Made 5 loops -> chose 2 loops for the battle -> master on SP -> Finished master on DAW -> Made animation.
