Installing 808 o.s. into a A6

I already know that a SP808 can use the A6 o.s.
I have owned and used my 808 for over a decade now. A few years ago I made the plunge and have blue MPC card reader installed in my 808
Figure I prefer to not have a spinning hard drive in there, though it probably beats zips.

I love my 808 now for a sampler/scratchpad.

I don't want to lose the 808 features...I think it's a great sampler. I did want to lose the Zip drive...for a long time.
What I am wondering is can the A6 use the 808 o.s.? I really like the color scheme of the A6...personally, to me, at this stage in my life, I prefer the gray and blue over the red and black.

So, aside from button labeling (functions!??) will this work!?

Has anyone ever done this? I realize it's purely cosmetic, but kinda wanted to give my 808 a new life with new buttons, pads, dial wheel with addition of a brand new paint job.

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a A6 ...can anyone confirm if this will work?

Ok I remember this shit, this is the weird 10 pad version of it yo. If you read my post again you will see that I already know about converting 808 to A6.

My question was can a A6 be converted to a 808.

I'm also curious if that would be possible.
I found one for sale here in Spain and I'm thinking of getting it.
Just due to curiosity....
The guy ask 275€ complete with expansion.
Anyway...I already have 2 SP-808's and I could give it a try to change the OS.
Keep you posted on my decision.
