Headphone trouble

Post by Red'n »

Hello, sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find the answer anywhere..

Can anyone tell me why I only get sound out of one headphone.. Haven't been able to use headphone with my sp because I just can't figure out how to get sound out of both.. I'm using the sp404sx with the focusrite 2i4 and a set of beats headphones.. Any advice would be great thanks..

Do you use an adapter for the headphones? Sometimes that can break easily and cause problems

do your headphones have a built-in mic?
like 3 rings on the plug..TRRS.

sometimes things w/ 2 rings don't like things w/ 3 rings.

You should also check if the adapter is mono or not (mono = one ring on the plug, stereo = two rings)

yes .. check the adapter for 2 rings . if it came with the Beats then it will be stereo anyway

check everything is pushed in properly (simple but often overlooked)
