I have always been curious on how many SPs have been sold. Do you have any idea?

I don't think he would know that, but I'm always interested in those kind of things as well. Probably company policy to not say anything about it though, so even if he does know, he probably won't tell.
I do wonder if it's in the 'thousands' or 'millions'... perhaps he or anyone else can give a rough estimate.
(It would be neat info to add to the SP 404 entry on wikipedia ...

it's always amazed me at how many countries Roland has reached. if you check out the backpage of the manual they list their offices in all the different countries, they're everywhere on every continent, serving up synths and samplers for the people : )
