Definitely a good start! Those are both albums that you will want to listen to even if you aren't going to sample it.

I agree, I only buy music I listen too. I used to buy to try and find samples then you end up with a bunch of shitty records you could care less about. Those are good records to start, you pretty much cant go wrong with earth wind and fire.
