...which one next?

I've sold myself on the idea of getting another SP for bouncing etc, but wanted to know your opinions...which one should I go for?

I have an SX so have been thinking either a straight 404 or a 303, or maybe even just another SX?

Any feedback would be appreciated!

the 303 is great for bouncing back and forth because you can resample from the ext. source.... not only that but the 303 has all the legendary effects. *cough* vinyl sim compression *cough*

I'm thinking about getting another sp as well, I've had the sx for a few years now & like it so much, I want another sp.

I'm leaning towards the 303 or 505.

I like the fact that the 303 can resample while sampling an external source (like Teddyp mentioned), also the way the reverse works, I've read that it reverses from the point you're at in the sample (not the end of the sample like the sx) & when you click reverse off it keeps you at the point in the sample that you clicked it off (instead of the beginning of the sample like the sx). I think this feature could be really useful for chopping & also as an effect.

My opinion, you should get the 303, I think it would compliment the sx really well.

Too be honest the main reason I'm thinking of the 505 is I heard it's similar to the 303 & it's cheaper. I can't think of them at the moment, but the 505 also has a few other features I remember really liking as well.

I played a bit with the 505 and its a bit slower than the 404 and the 303, you can do so fuckin much with the 505, but for me, that slowness kinda put a stop in my workflow, if you just getting it for the effects and the resampling with inputs, Id say just get the 303, because with the old 404 you dont have the copy feature that is so nice on the sx.
