just bouncing or for production, but no other samples can be used unless its a vocal.

Used the 404sx for everything except ran the mix through the 303 vinyl compressor

Used a couple elements from diff songs (from the album no outside samples lol) but mostly used the drum break at 17:34

I used my mpc to stretch and pitch a couple samples and a couple little vocal oneshots from a break record, other than that it was all the sample and 303 and 404sx

This was my first attempt toying with a SP-505 and SP-202 that I just got, I only added scratches, the rest is bits of the Turtles album from the youtube link processed back and forth through the sp's.

Interesting choice for samples as the Turtles sued the f**k out of De La Soul for sampling them.

The exact reason why I chose it lol, but also because of its importance in hiphop. Loads of producers used samples from this album
