I have been scouring the midi pad controllers and trying to find one that will hold a pad down like the sp sampler's do.
Anybody know of one?

I have looked at that one, will it hold a pad like the sp series samplers do?
Re: Midi pad controllers that work like a sp sampler
idk but it does have a big button on it that says "hold".
when i had it as an fl controller i never used that function.

I seen that hold button, but the manual says it’s for tha xy pad.
Re: Midi pad controllers that work like a sp sampler
I have the korg padkontrol and yeah, it doesnt hold down a pad like the 404, also the pads feel more like an mpc than a 404

Re: Midi pad controllers that work like a sp sampler
Thanx for verifying that Lou, I guess I am gonna give up. I have been searching relentlessly for an iPad app sampler that would be close to the sp series, but none have a hold feature like the sp's do. Then I thought well maybe I can find a controller that has it built in but no luck so far.
I mean I could run a sequencer and have it play the parts I want but where's the fun in that?
