303 or 404 . is it subjective or no?

if 303 owner . would you do a straight swap for the 404?

and if 404 owner . would you straight swap your 404 for 303

hypothetically speaking . if they were both factory fresh tomorrow . what would you opt for ?

(I know a lot of heads have had/ own both)

aha , I have heard about the speed comparison . on the flipside . the 303 does have input record function ability when resampling .. shame this feature isn't present on the 404 .. beat making would be super efficient and more creative (in strictly out the box situations . no bouncing back and forth between equipt)

I never find myself in a situation where I would want to use the external resampling, except to keep a metronome... but i have 3 404s daisy-chained together so it's not an issue. Also I don't use Vinyl sim anymore so don't care that it sounds nicer on the 303.

Faster Processing Speed, Mark-Chop, Battery-power... 404 all the way.

The 303 looks cooler though

speed is great (404) but it is not everything
i love 202 and it's stupid slow but i believe processing time is kind of meditative
303 has wonderful sound but 404 also has wonderful sound
seperate wonderful sounds
i love 404 i would not trade for 303 but if i have 303 i would not trade for 404
use what you have supplement later they're all good
