Good companion for the SX

[acronym]

Any suggestions, I was thinking getting my old trusty mpc1000 again but I have a ipad with beatmaker2 which does everything and more than my old mpc. I guess getting a mpc be nice for old times sake but I wanted to explore different avenues.

I was thinking a sp606?, Kaos pad but which one.

I've got both of these, and a 202. Trying to figure out how to use two 404's together. Are you sequencing on one and recording full tracks into the other? or resampling each machine?

It's funny how where one falls the other exceeds. I tried to keep my 500 for that reason but just don't have to time to learn it right know.

got the mpc live 2 weeks ago, seems like a nice companion too ) i`m guessing the 404 will be the companion and the mpc the master now ))
