Sample Attack/Decay questions

Post by Lou-E »

Selling my mpc 2000 and thinking of getting a 606 to replace it. Loved the way you could process drums on the mpc with the decay settings, I am wondering if you can do the same with the drums on the 606 decay, couldn't find any videos showcasing the effect. So, to recap, does the decay work good for drums or is there some weirdness to it.

I'd like to add that the 606 has velocity but it isnt that great. So I'd be careful about getting rid of the mpc over the 606. there are alot of differences in workflow.

i don't have a problem with velocity on the 606, and i've had a ton of different pads.

the pads feel similar to a padkontrol only the pads are smaller.
