Weird "skips" bugs on sp 808

Post by MoleyMoley »

Hi everyone,
So i just bought a second hand sp808 and after messing around with a few sample i've a noticed a weird bug, when a sample is triggered by the sequencer it will skip forward & then backward, it does the same glitch when i try to record a sample from the internal mixer. This happens randomly and it never "skips" to the same point of the sample.
It runs Os 1.0

Im not mastering the Sp yet so maybe it's just me doing things wrong
feel free to enlighten me :D

ps: excuse me for my english

Have you tried using another Zip Disk, sometimes they can be a bit buggy!

No i haven't ... yet :D, thanks for answering, i use my DAW to control it now, it makes things way easier because it's inner sequencer is a real pain.
Also i just bounce my loops on it & then resample with effects on if needed.

I never liked the 808 sequencer, much better to use it the way your using it now. Pretty much the same way I use it.
