Resampling adjustments

the workflow is real fluid with the sx, but recently i've had some issues stacking effects through resample.

recently tried isolating the low-end of a bassline that had already been run through mfx 22, but upon trying to record it seems to peak

do i need to put the effect limiter on or something? only started happening as of recently

I haven't had much experience with the limiter, but have you tried turning the original level down using start/end/level button?

ive managed to get around this by just recording the source at a much lower volume. the decibels increase much more than they should, even if i eq. started noticing this couple months back
