a forum of dedicated SP fiends probably isn't the best place to find someone wanting to sell one

don't limit yourself to the 404 though. they just sorta reissued the 303(maybe it's more like selling backstock) but those are only like three bills. that's cheap, especially for brand new.

Ebay is fine for music gear in my experience, but I agree on checking craigslist. A 303 new for 300 is a good deal for a very similar machine to the 404-if thats your price range, of course

but i found one on another board for 275 with a 1 gig card. so im pretty happy!

Yeah, people on FP get rid of sp-404's like they have A.I.D.S when they relize it's nothing like an MPC they used one time. Welcome to the dark side.
