SP 303 wont power on.

Hello,

New user to the forum. Also new user to SP 303.

I recently lucked out and got a used SP 303. The previous owner stated when he got it. The rca and headphone input/output didnt work. So i figured I'd be able to swap them with new parts.

I got the unit home. And just like he said it would power up and all else seemed to work. Except for what he mentioned. The power supply was a 9v 680ma universal power supply. Still the unit powered up but no audio. So i bought a replacement rca and headphone.

Now when i plug the unit in and try to turn it on. It will not power up. I tested the traces with a multimeter and checked all the pins. The multimeter states all good signals and connections.

So what is the issue here?

Maybe your soldering is touching and shorting out.
