I don't own a SP 202 right at the moment, and there's no right or wrong answer on this question, but have any of you used a hardware or computer/software sequencer to trigger your 202 pads with MIDI? The 2nd pic displays the Roland MC-50 sequencer. The 2nd pic is the way they suggest controlling the 202 over MIDI.
If you used a MPC, Alesis MMT8, Yamaha rm1X/RS7000, or some sort of synth with a onboard sequencer, my question is was it easy/hard to setup? Did your beats improve or kind of feel more stiff/rigid when you let the sequencer do it all?
I'm thinking of getting into hardware sequencers to control some of my stuff, and I was wondering if this was anything you've tried already?
Ever used a hardware/Computer sequencer your 202?
