stupid question..! help!

Hello,

Just wondering.. If I load from my computer to the SP-303 and I mess some samples with the machine.. And then I turn off the SP-303..
When I turn it on again, is it normal that everything I did is lost?
Do I have to SAVE everything every time?

1. Everything I do is LOST every Time I turn the machine off. What's the "auto save" thing and where is it ?!
2. I read the manual FROM A TO Z and that's never mentioned...
