Sp 505 Pattern Recording and Sample Time Stretch

Hi Guys,

im fairly new to this forum and also with the SP505.
Ive got mine yesterday and i understand the basics.
One thing bothers me alot.
Ive manually chopped some samples and i want to record them as a pattern.
The problem is, that it automatically stretch the samples when im recording and it gets some artifactical sounds.
Is it possible to turn the time stretch off?

Turn it from "Phrase" to "Single" in the sample edit menu
