Anyone out there have a favorite talk radio program?
During work, long drives, maybe even someone you can't stand the politics of, but you listen?
Most terrestrial stations have web streaming now so it's cool to listen to different shows from around the country or around the world.

I'm not really into talk radio but sometimes I listen to a show on 90.1/91.1. Dudes just get drunk and prank the guy the whole show, I cant listen to it for too long though.

other that that its music on the radio ♪♫ ♪ ♫ 101.1 WCBS!!! FM..................NEW YORK!!!♪♫ ♪ ♫

Yeah, I tune into Michael Savage every now and then on 550AM - I can't stand him and think he's really rude to his callers, but I just wanna hear what he's gonna say next -
Here in PHX - we have a local host on the same channel called "The nearly famous Barry Young" He's freakin hilarious and I agree with alot of the things he says. I usually listen to him every morning.
They also syndicate Rush and I check him out for a little while I drive to work.

On the software iTunes, under the LIBRARY tab, you click radio and they have a huge selection of stations that stream there, I didn't even know about it for 6 months or so of using iTunes.

I like http://www.wbal.com/ at night- The JT the Brick show is great for scores & game wrap ups. The Dr. Dean Edell show is classic on KGO for reliable health stuff. And of course Tom Leykis is off the F-in' modem on http://www.971freefm.com/pages/1349971.php
NY has tonsa hot Caribbean FM channels- WFMU of course is choice for zany indy. This one that's on iTunes is pretty amazing http://www.mystery-otr.net/mpir-radio/ to hear the old ass radio shows.

It's all about audio yo!
If your sampler has ins&outs you can always listen to radio through the SP & grab crazy shit !

NPR hooks up some good stuff and has been since I was a kid and my mom's listened to it in the car on road trips.

Was that on "Fresh Air" with Terry Gross? Her artist interviews are great. She had Ice Cube on there once & DMC.
I love that NPR usually has the BBC as well- I'm even real surprised at some of the bumper music they play between segments- NPR.
Also "Science Friday" is the shit!

Is that the late night show with George Nori? Where he interviews everyone from parapsychologists to ghost hunters to music engineers? I LOVE that show! I haven't listened in a few years, sadly enough. I remember hearing one that was all about sound and how it affects your brain waves. Very interesting.

When I used to deliver sandwiches during the day, I would listen to Dave Ramsey's financial show. I also think it's really entertaining, plus it has some *great* financial advice. People call in to destroy their credit cards in all kinds of crazy ways, too. I remember one guy called up from a shooting range, and he blew his Mastercard away with a shotgun. Awesome.
