Best learning resources for SP-404SX ???

Hey all! New to the forums and am so stoked to hopefully be a contributing member of this community (as I have learned so much already from the posts). I was just wondering if anyone knows of a post that has some good resources for learning the SP-404SX. I couldn't find much, noticed there is a few YouTube guides which I plan to watch but thought i'd ask.

I am planning on buying a SP-404SX soon, and am going to the store on Tuesday to try one out (so just trying to prepare myself to know what to do). Any tips on how to play with one in store would be appreciate too!

hey dude, welcome.

only advice i can give is more of a kinda warning..
im guessing the SP in the store you're going to will be set up to factory settings, which means unfortunately you won't be able to resample or actually build anything. you can play with the factory sounds and effects though, just not really "record" anything per se.

just a heads up so you don't get discouraged and confused.
who knows, it might've been unlocked though. good luck.

in terms of best resource, i'd say spending time on the unit is best. the manual is good too, hella simple and to the point.

Thanks for the response man. Definitely some good knowledge to know so I don't freak out and think all the videos I watched were lies haha. Appreciate it man Will read the manual, great suggestion (wasn't aware it was so good, but looked it up afterwards and now see it is an awesome resource).

I downloaded the PDF and then removed all of the non-English pages for a much smaller PDF file!
