I've noticed that i heard (sound) difference between some 404s / if it is an old model or more recent
i have a very old 404 with the old power adapter (big rectangle not rounded edges) and it doesn't sound like the other (i don't think it's due to the adapter but serial.N. sp itself)
do you already heard that ?
