So we just grab whatever drum sounds we can from this sample and thats it for drums, right?

I posted the sample before I came with that idea to post the stock sounds. maby next time. There are parts in this song to get clean drum hits though. I figured it would be good to take it back to the OG style battles cuz of the comments from battle15 poll.

I've a lil comprehension problem...
what's she singing from 0:11 -0:20
"I can see through your ?!&"%&( you keepin me from someone..."

That song got me... :cry: and I already have a "tryout" snare (Yeehoo) but the basedrum is hard to get... gotta check the prod.teq's...

at first it sounded like " i can see through your brown pasture ohhhh then you die"

then it sounded like "I can see through your frown faster ohhhh many times" but I'm not sure

I know the sound quality is shit but it is what it is. We had pretty bad sound quality on that James Brown battle too. Also you mention better quality MP3- I think its all analog grime not digital youtube grime :lol: , looks like this came from a old VHS.

aight, im down. i started all my sampling off the you tube clip anyways. it juss popped in my mind in the middle of working with it. thanx for clearing it up.

im not gonna lie. i DLed the mp3, and the drums sound hella better on youtube (live?).
