Brazilian Lo-Fi hip hop

Post by MattCoops »

Looking for some Brazilian lo-fi hip hop. If anyone can put me on to some.

There's a girl who just started at my work who just moved here from Brazil. She speaks close to no English. And we communicate back and fourth by using Google Translate.
I had some lofi instrumental stuff bumping on the Bluetooth radio out back, and seen her bobbin' her head.
Then, later, she gave me one of her earbuds and she had some sick boom bap flowin' in Portugese.

I want to find some dope Brazilian stuff and see if she's heard of it. Maybe buy her a cassette.

She said she collects vinyl too, and I immediately fell in love with her.
I hope she invites me over sometime to peep her records. Maybe she can put me on to some shit to sample.

But yeah, if any ya'll know any acts, drop a gem.

Yo man! I am new here, but thought i'd reply. I actually produced one of my tracks sampling a famous Brazilian song (whistling). It's LOFI but not as LOFI as i'd like (made without SP-404). Anyways, the track is called i c e c r e a m. Maybe it's her thing, maybe not but just thought i'd post it as LOFI Hip hop + Brazil is something that caught my attention haha. If not no worries, much love.
