Microwave Beats and FX (Resample Method)

Hey guys,

Im pretty new to this forum, but use the SP404sx for a while.
I used it most for livesets as an FXunit.
But i fell in love with the dirty lofi sound of guys like sleepy eyes, grimm Doza, Jay Alpha... the whole Radio Juicy thing. So I tried to create my own microwave lofi beats (Samples, Volca Keys, and SP404sx only)
I really really like the resampling method for making these beats but they still won't get the style of sound i like.
Don't get me wrong, the samples and everything sounds cool for me. All I miss is this... dunno how to explain...last touch? =D
I tried the compressor at the full beat...and it sounds quite like i want it. but not exactly, cause all the "deep" sounds sounding not so fat anymore.
Could some of you guys explain how you work with the resampling method making lofi beats? Which effect do you use for what, etc...?

after compressing use the eq effect (mfx 13 on the og sp404) to fatten the low end and tweak the other frequencies. the radio tuning effect can also sound pretty nice for this sometimes
