Midi jack replacement- please help

It's been a while, but I own a used 404 again!
Unfortunately the midi jack is missing and some cables have been cut through.
Can anybody help what I need to connect, or post a picture? Just bought a 5 pin midi jack ...

Thanks to the service manual over here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=23973 I managed to get midi sync working
But what's the cut through cables for? Anybody knows?
