Problems installing Mac driver on 10.11.6

Hello everybody

After having several SPs (202 & 303) and sell them, I have copped a SP606.

I have downloaded the Mac driver from Roland website, actually I have download and try the two versions available there for Mac computers (https://www.roland.com/global/support/b ... s_drivers/)

My problem is that I can't install the driver. In the last step of the intallationg, right after the message "you will have to restart your computer blablabla", I get this message saying there was a mistake with the installation, the installer could not install the driver because it couldn't find anything to install...

Sad does anybody experience something similar or found a work around?

Mmmm, nobody have experience this? Does anybody know a workaround to install the driver on El Capitan?

don't think so.


the only os the 606's interface functions still work on, as they are supposed to, is linux.

there is a hack to get it working on windows7 & 8 but most other os's are without a driver usable driver.

Finally it worked. The driver installer was giving me the error over and over again and I though it didn't get installed but it did. My computer recognized the SP606 as an audio interface... Hurray!

I have problems with the midi interface tho, I will post another threat
