everything was recorded into a portable tape machine that used to be used in a school setting guitar and bass were recorded together then the drums then i layered them on my sp404sx then used vinyl sim comp 303 to compress then back to sp404sx then uploaded to my computer off the sd card

I think you got the lofi aspect down. It sounds distorted but in a good way.

My only concern is that the instruments are out of tune and not harmonizing too much which to me is very off-putting and disorientating.

You should make more though.
