404sx (to this day the only piece of gear I've bought new)
303
just got a 505, gonna try it out and see how i like it

I also have a 202 but I loaned it indefinitely to a friend who does noise music. Been thinking about selling it but I'm gonna wait til I know how much he is relying on it. Don't want to pull it out from under him like that.

Recently added a SP-505 (110$ shipped) and a SP-606 (179$ shipped) so now all i Need to complete it is the SP-808... but i'm not sure if i should get it or not (mostly because of the size of the unit and the zip drive).

peace to the whole SP fam

if you get it, you can but a cf card reader from mpc stuff to replace the zip.

it won't be hot swappable though. stlll, it will give about 4hr of sample time.

808/505/606 work well together.

Its not as easy to pick up like an SP. SPs are fun to get down but the MV is a technical kind of beast. They're nothing like SPs, more like Maschine's caliber or a JJOS MPC. Though you can use it like an SP if you like but with its many mfx, none can compare to an SP's mfx and you can't use more than one at the same time like a 606 can. Other than that, the MV is a monster and a bad ass sampler.

i know i'm missing the 808EX but i'll probably never buy that because it's so ugly and my 808 can be upgraded to an EX anyways.

my mission is complete for the Moment
