Cardreader for the sp808 on ebay

There is a working cardreader on Ebay -i have the same and it works very well in m< SP- with a 512MB CF-card from SanDisk

Is this for real?? You say you've got it working in an 808?

The price (for me) is a little steep to take a gamble... I could probably get a 404 for near that price...

Does it work with anything higher than a 512MB card? (Still, compared to 100MB zip discs, anything is an improvement )

... this would be a pretty rad Xmas present.. but I am just as likely to believe in reindeer pulling santas sleigh as I would in a working cf card replacement for my beloved 808

it works from what i read, but it won't be hotswapable. you'll have to turn it off every time you take out the card.

That price is ridiculous!!!
There has to be a better option for a card reader/writer for the SP-808.

I'm still searching. I'll keep ya'll posted.
