My thoughts and critiques:

Chopperman: Pretty basic sounding flip. The drums have a swing but lack a groove.. Specifically the hi hats.

Teewok: Deng, I don't even recognize that part you used to flip. Nice use of the NAS acapella.

gnmz: SPFIGHT 213? wtf? It's a BEAT BATTLE. #SPBB213

hisu: Digging the dirty sound.. It's bit repetitive and disorientating doe..

magicsean: I'm digging this drum groove. It sounds like you actually banged it out. Gj.

moonlight: DIRTY. Those drums are crunchy af. I like it.

Pauzh1: Deng dude. This is pretty legit. My favorite so far. EMBRACE THE MISTAKES

Erniethecat: Beat kind of drags. The change up is pretty cool.. But the drums are pretty static.

l i f - I dig that you're using all the snares, it's a good contrast to the stale drums i've been hearing so far. I only wish that the sample was more clear and not filtered.

Green Dutch - DEYUM. STRAIT BOOMIN BAPPIN

realityreid - What the WUT? I'm digging the swing and syncopation.. But it's harmonically unpleasant.

dRMS - not quite 2minutes.. It's pretty low in volume too. Try adding some limiting compression to bring up the mix. Good loop.

otbt - Oh yeah, I dug yours. Heard it when it came up on my feed. Definitely not a sequenced beat.

MICHIO - wtf dude? You expect me download not one, but TWO 20mb .aif files? e_e How about a stream link next time?

Excuse my bluntness.. I'm just being real with y'all.. Props to everybody for participating.

My votes go to OTBT, GREEN DUTCH..

It's sequenced, but in the sampling mode, that's what you meant i guess... :wink:

The pattern mode is useless for me since it's impossible to resample patterns in the box, which is a major flaw, just like the inability of the 808 to resample the vari-pitch...

But, it's better than nothing :mrgreen:

r4ph - thanks g, i used resample and played out the drums so u are right about that. mono 4 samples and cooked that shit off right one take.

i wanted to pick a winner based on listenability and the right amount of lofi.. gnmz held it down, enjoyed the interlude-like formula and choice of sounds. only wanted to vote once so i went with moon he had the right amount of lofi crust and groove. cheers.

I really enjoyed the Green Dutch flip. Liked a large majority the entrys. R4ph431s video sound quality was just bad enough that it made it hard to judge. A proper recording of this beat and i mightve given it to r4ph4 cuz it sounded like fire. Michios beats were dope but please make them streamable next time cuz i think a lot of people are gonna just see your link and think "a fucking download sigh*" and not even give your beat a listen.
