New to the SP-404 and FL Studio
So I just got my Portable SP 404 in the mail yesterday and I already have an audio interface (ufo202) and card reader to accomodate it, but I'm still lost in how I get it started on FL Studio. I've been using FL for about a year now (on my mac) and none of the combinations I've tried with linking the interface and sp have worked when I tried recording to the sp. Maybe I've been using the wrong cables and I need to buy a new one, I have no clue. Can somebody help me out?

Are you trying to get audio from FL Studio to the sp or Audio from the sp to FL studio?

You will probably be fine though.

So I finally got it working with what I have (and the topic you linked was a big help) but I'm stumped on how to record/resample what I have in FL to the sp :/ Like for the time being I can only get stuff to work thats imported from the flash card

Fruity Loops is a great sampler and sequencer. It has a ton of vst's and effectst that make it super powerful.
Where it lacks is in it's capability to record.
Personally, I like to do most of my editing and fx on FL, I resample onto my sp-808, and then record the outcome of those sessions into Pro Tools.
TL:DR FL is good for fx and midi sequencing; sux for tracking and editing.

I'm confused about what you are asking.

What I meant was is there any way I can resample my chops in FL directly to the SP?

The only way to get tracks directly from your computer without using the memory card reader would be to use the cords I showed you above
