Filmed a weird bug I’ve been experiencing with the SP404sx, happens quite frequently.
https://youtu.be/D8xb8KSMqAk (more details in the description)
I find DJFX Looper most effective when CTRL 2 is set to 1.0 (all the way to the right), but CTRL 2 sometimes seems to get ‘stuck’ on a prior setting and requires two or three attempts at turning it back & forth to get it to 'realise' it’s set to 1.0.
It’s like it needs manually resetting.
Any suggestions? As someone who uses DJFX a lot in a live scenario it can really impact a performance because it affects the speed of the clip during playback.
Experiencing a DJFX bug (video provided), any ideas?

If you change an FX setting and then go to a different FX mess with those settings and go back to the original FX, the 404 will remember the last FX setting you had it assigned to. So for example if you use DJFX Looper and twist some knobs and then go to isolator and twist some knobs and then back to DJFX Looper the knob values will be at the same place you last assigned them to. They don't go back to default values until you turn off the machine. This is a "feature" of the 404.

Thank you for the reply, but that's not quite the problem I'm having. I'm not expecting the SP to remember anything or store any prior settings; I'm manually turning CTRL 2 to 1.0 each time before I hit DJFX; and half of the time it behaves as if I haven't, and the speed of the clip is affected.
I've since discovered that holding 'remain' before turning CTRL 2 to 1.0 completely fixes the problem. But doing this each time I use DJFX is a hassle, and the remain button's proximity to three buttons that stop all audio isn't ideal for live performances.
Need to find a fix for this, it's driving me nuts.

when playing live I turn the effects on and set them to where I want em to be. Before I start the music. So DJFX I will enable, then turn off, then turn the knobs 3 to zero, 2 to max, and 1 wherever really it doesn't matter.
All the effects have some kinda preset levels to them. So yeah when you initially enable an effect it will be doing something that may not be in correlation to the knobs position.

in your video you are turning the controls before the DJFX is enabled. So they are setting the filter that was previously enabled
