Thanks guys, I actually don't put more than 30 mins into any of my beats unless I'm doing a project with a theme or what not. That's my problem, I can never focus one thing too long or I get bored or lose the direction or feeling I was going for. I put the hi-hats on a basic 1/8th note quantize and just add delay to them during playback, works with everything from piano's to kick drums. Have fun with that for all you live set cats.

Word, usually I get to the point where I have the basic loop and then I'm bored. I create like at least 15 tracks a day and only track out 6 or 4 of them.

i like that winding, droney instrument. gives a nice Eastern feel to lay the boom bap onto

I only have a 303. If I had more money I'd get the 505 or 555 but I like the 303 a lot.
