404sx- Limit effect of Sub Sonic? to decr. note range?

looking to be a little more.... accurate with the subsonic and make some basslines repeatedly/accurately when resampling or doing it live... i thought maybe there was a way to limit the effect using the SP404sx built in 'effect limit' function. i couldnt figure it out... any thoughts?

if you want to limit the max volume the fx puts out there is a way to do that. it's in the manual don't remember exactly how.
