Sax mic effects without sample pads being affected

I want to play my sax through sp404sx delay but when a sample is pressed the delay also applies to that. How to only have effect on. Ext source/mic?

press a pad and then turn any effect on. if you then press [remain], the lit pads will have the effect on and the unlit ones are dry. also true for the [ext source] button
