to those living in NYC and Boston, I'm looking for concerts

Post by Rhua »

Me and my girl will be spending our sommer holidays on the east coast, two weeks New York and one week in Boston. We'd like to look for shows but after an hour scrobbling through websites that only come up with the same pop shit over and over again I thought I'd ask here. I used to use last.fm's event search but that seems totally broken :( It seems incredibly hard to find a good source.

So can anyone recommend me some magazines or sites I could make use of? I'm looking for just about anything, electronic, noise, indie, anything beat-related. Where do you get your intel?

In Boston, look up the Middle East club.
Madlib played there last year.
